1949
Building was originally a lighthouse in the Florida Keys. After being deactivated the locals referred to it as the “House on Stilts”. It was later burned down in 1971 by some local individuals and the only thing that remains to this day is the supporting frame work.

I don’t know how to describe this guy. Actually awesome. His name was Bucalo, and he couldn’t stop moving.. he danced around while he told me about his life. He recognized my camera, told me about his father’s career as a photographer, his love of punk rock, and his destination; Hynes Convention Center. Then he followed me onto the T, told me how Ritalin kept him sane, and left when we stopped at Hynes.. and all I was left with was these two photos. #art
